Table 1 contains the baseline data from each intervention group.  Portions of the tracking form that were not completed by an individual were still included in the group calculations.  That is, if a woman did not respond to one of the sections, she was essentially counted as a no/included in the total number.  I am planning on constructing a second table that contains proportions based only on those did respond (ie: Of those who responded, 98% of the participants stated that they learned something new).  The only exception to this was for the race category, where women who did not respond directly to the question where placed in ‘unknown’.  The proportion of participants who had a mammogram in the last 12 months (so the proportion with up-to-date breast cancer screening) was calculated only using age-appropriate women/those who were over 40.  For intervention site one: Of the participants who were 40 years or older, 100% reported having a mammogram within the last 12 months.  As far as determining the percentage of women who plan to schedule their mammograms within the appropriate time, women over 40 who checked ‘within the next12 months’ and women under 40 who checked ‘when I turn 40’ were included in the numerator (with the denominator being the total sample size).
