Distress as a Predictor of Medical Outcome - Mayo Clinic
The primary aims are 1) to
examine the relationship between distress as measured by the Symptom
Checklist-90-Revised and survival at a 24 month follow-up and 2) to examine the
relationship between distress as measured by the SCL-90-R and morbidity as indicated
by days hospitalized over a 24 month period. Secondary aims include examining the
relationship between psychological factors with both survival and morbidity at
a 24 month follow-up.
