The Government Relations
Department of the American Cancer Society advocates for public policies
surrounding tobacco. Government Relations activities aim to expand coverage of
clean indoor air policies to reduce exposure to environmental tobacco smoke, decrease
smoking prevalence, and contribute to a change in social norms.
