Active Living - Isanti County
A five-year
community-based partnership designed to assess and implement changes needed to
enable increased levels of physical activity.
The partnership focus is on the three cites of Cambridge,
Isanti, and Braham in rural Isanti county with a multi-use corridor of trails
for transportation and recreation connecting Cambridge and Isanti as its foundation. Extension of this trail system to Braham is
planned for the future. Active Living
implementation includes the Safe Routes to School program, creating bike maps
and providing signage for trail distances and points of interest.
