Linda Sershon, R.N., M.A., joined United Hospital as director of oncology services in October 2005. In this role, she develops and executes strategic business plans to support the growth and development of the Cancer Program; provides oversight of the Breast Center, Oncology Research Department, Oncology Data Services and the Infusion Center; and works closely with Radiation Therapy and the Inpatient Oncology Unit. Sershon has more than 25 years of experience providing energetic, passionate leadership to hospital operations managers. Her work in oncology began in 1997 at Fairview Health Services where she held two oncology leadership roles.

In addition to her role with United Hospital, Sershon is a member of the Minnesota Society of Clinical Oncology and has been a member of the metro Minnesota chapter of Oncology Nursing Society for nine years, seven of which she has held leadership roles, including president-elect and president.
