Health Disparities Task Force members are conducting a variety of community based interventions to increase screening across a variety of racial and ethnic groups and cancer. How can we build on these projects to expand their reach?

Cancer Plan Minnesota Objective 8:  Reduce disparities in screening for breast, colorectal and cervical cancer.

Strategy:  Create targeted awareness campaigns, educational programs, and interventions to improve cancer screening rates.

Primary Aim: Increase cancer screening rates through education and increased access to community services

Desired Outcomes:       

·         Help people think about how to integrate and create a plan or idea to take home and put to work.

·         Integrate cancer awareness into current activities
