Outcomes
- Hold one Friend-to-Friend event for the Pastor’s Wives group by April 2006
- At least two site coordinators or "champions" from each church will be identified, recruited and trained during the intervention period.
- All participating churches will hold at least one Friend-to-Friend event by October 2006.
- All site coordinators return and complete 100% of reports and surveys by October 2006.
- 20% of age appropriate female congregants at each church participate in Friend-to-Friend sessions.

Evaluation question: To what extent was there a change in knowledge, attitudes, and behavior about breast and cervical among women receiving the intervention?

- A total of 169 referrals will be made to free or low-cost clinics for cancer screening. (Represents 75% of goal: 225 women reached)
- Of the intake forms indicating need for Pap test screening, 75% will go on to receive a Pap test at least 12 months post intervention.
- Of the intake forms indicating need for mammography screening, 75% will go on to receive a mammogram at least 12 months post-intervention.
- Of participants in Friend-to-Friend intervention 75% will comply with current screening guidelines within 12 months post-intervention.
