| Cancer Plan Minnesota 2005-2010 is the state's first comprehensive cancer control plan created to reduce the cancer burden among all Minnesotans. A framework for action, this plan contains measureable objectives and will help guide the Minnesota Cancer Alliance in its fight against cancer in Minnesota.
Initially, the Minnesota Cancer Alliance will focus on on four initial priorities outlined in Cancer Plan Minnesota:
- Expanding clean indoor air policies
- Reducing disparities in cancer screening and treatment
- Improving access to information about locally available support services for cancer patients and their families
- Increasing colorectal cancer screening
